GPX Files to download into your Garmin or other GPS device to keep you on track for the Trail Races on the 17th May 2014

kmf logo

We've been asked by a few competitors & KMF to supply some GPX files for the races on the 17th May 2014.

Although the courses will be fully marked, its a really good idea to either have a map & compass or use the fail safe method of following your GPS. *

The 10km route:

This is the baby bear of the trail runs & is on very obvious paths & trails. Like the other routes it is a marked course, but should you need the help of your GPS, then here is the route to download.

The actual distance of this route, according to Anquet Outdoor Map Navigator is 10.22km & the height gain is 347.64m

GPX Download from our DropBox here.

The 22km route:

This is the mother bear of the 3 routes. Again it is  a very obvious courses, good trails & tracks, plus some road back to Keswick & the events centre. Fully marked throughout, but should you require the help of your GPS device, then please download the GPX file below:

The actual distance of this route, according to Anquet Outdoor Map Navigator is 21.96km & the height gain is 781.02m

GPX Download from our DropBox here.

The 42km route:

This is a daddy bear of the races, requiring good fitness & stamina to complete in a fast time. We're looking forward to seeing a good courses time this year, to up the ante for the subsequent years to come. Obvious trails throughout most of the route, but an understanding of navigation, or following your GPS might be needed should the weather dictate. The courses will be fully marked again, in keeping with trail running, but again we are supplying a GPX file should you need it.

The actual distance of this route, according to Anquet Outdoor Map Navigator is 41.85km & the height gain is 1588.95m

GPX Download from our DropBox here.

If you need further information about the courses, please don't hesitate to contact Charlie via email at charlie@mountainrun.co.uk

* MountainRun would always advise to learn the real skill of navigation, as if your GPS fails for what ever reason, you don't know where you are after that moment.
