I had an interview with Ian Corless, from Talk Ultra, just after the Berghaus Trail Chase. In conjunction with Ian & MountainRun, this Basic Navigation article was produced.
Scratch was an amazing runner, without him the MountainRun concept would not have been born, so I only feel it right to pay homage to him. Scratch has been one of my best running partners ever.

4 Aug 2014 Buttermere & Ambleside Check Points on the Ultra Tour de Lake District 100 & 50 mile races
MountainRun were out in full force on the weekend of the Lakes 100 & 50 mile races. Each year for the last 4 years we have run the Buttermere Check Point, this year we looked after Ambleside as well.
A course designed specifically towards the SLMM & other Mountain Marathons on the circuit.
